NAME:Dina Lohan BIRTH DATE:September 14, 1962 (Age: 51) PLACE OF BIRTH:New York City, New York

Dina Lohan (Donata Melina Nicolette Sullivan), born September 15, 162, in New York City, is a television personality who gained celebrity status as the mother and manager of actress Lindsay Lohan and her younger sister Ali Lohan.

In 1985, Dina Lohan married Michael Lohan but the two separated three years later before getting back together. Their marriage continued on a rollercoaster before Dina filed for divorce in 2005.

Dina started working on film with unaccredited background roles in The Parent Trap (1998) as Woman in Airport, Freaky Friday (2003) as Woman Dancing in Wedding, and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004) as Woman Walking on Street.

On May 26, 2008, Dina and Ali starred in their debut reality show, Living Lohan, on the E! Network. Dina also made her debut as an executive producer of the series but received a lot of criticism for broadcasting her younger daughter Ali on the reality show, after its premiere.

Dina has also been blasted for ignoring Lindsay’s constant drug abuse and insisting it was not her fault but rather Lindsay’s poor personal choices, which are under her control. The scrutiny continued when Dina invited an Entertainment Tonight film crew to visit Lindsay at the Betty Ford Rehab Facility, in hopes of further launching her career.

In May 2012, Dina made her most controversial career move to date by appearing on the Dr. Phil show and acting completely bizarre, as if she was wasted. She even flipped Dr. Phil off when he said, “You have come one here and been phony, [and] inauthentic.”

Her most recent scandal occurred in October 2012, when Lindsay called her father, claiming Dina was trying to kidnapped her, yelling, “Dad, she's on cocaine. She's like touching her neck, and sh*t.” Although the story gained national exposure, Lindsay later went on to deny Dina was on coke and blamed her father for releasing the tape to the press. Dina has since advised Lindsay to get a permanent restraining order against Michael.
