Amanda Bynes. biography
Amanda Laura Bynes was born on April 3, 1986, in Thousand Oaks, California, and is the youngest of three children. By the age of 7, Amanda had been featured on several commercials for Buncha Crunch candies and performed in the stage versions of Annie, The Music Man, The Sound of Music and The Secret Garden.
Amanda burst onto the scene in 1996, with a heavily featured role in Nickelodeon's All That (1994) and Figure It Out (1997). At the age of 13-years-old, Amanda added to her growing popularity with her own skit show, The Amanda Show (1999).
In 2002, Amanda began to establish her fan base with her debut film role in Big Fat Liar (2002) opposite Frankie Muniz and a starring role in the WB's TV sitcom What I Like About You (2002 - 2006) with Jennie Garth. She also made her voice-over debut in Charlotte's Web 2: Wilbur's Great Adventure (2003) and later in the animated comedy Robots (2005).
Amanda's film career took off over the next two years, with a role in the romantic comedy Lovewrecked (2005) and a starring role in the comedy She's The Man (2006), which is loosely based on Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. She went on to play Penny in the musical comedy Hairspray (2007) with John Travolta and Zac Efron and starred in the comedy Sydney White (2007). She also signed a deal with Steve & Barry's and launched her own fashion line called Dear in 2007. In January 2009, Steve & Barry's went out of business and so did her line.
In 2010, Amanda landed a role in the teen comedy Easy A with Emma Stone and Lisa Kudrow and was set to reprise her role in Hairspray 2, but it was later canceled. During this time, the pressure of being an actor in Hollywood finally caught up to Amanda when she took to her Twitter page and said, "I don't love acting anymore, so I've stopped doing it." She then retracted her comment in 2011, telling People magazine that she was taking a break.
A lot of Amanda's fame has stemmed from her recent judgment calls, particularly the ones involving the Los Angeles Police. On March 7, 2012, Amanda was stopped by LAPD for talking and driving, which was later overlooked when she was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and fleeing the scene after hitting a police car in West Hollywood on April 6, 2012. On September 4, 2012, Amanda was charged with two separate hit-and-run incidents that occurred on April 10 and August 4. On September 6, Amanda's license was suspended by the DMV, but she didn't seem to notice because her black BMW was impounded days later for driving with a suspended license. On September 27, Amanda pled not guilty to both hit-and-run charges.

2001 - 2002
Amanda and co-star Taran Killam started dating after working on The Amanda Show. She ended up dumping him when she was 17 years old.

2003 - 2004
After dating Taran Killam, Amanda rebounded with Nick Zano, who was 7 years older than her.
In an 2005 interview with CosmoGirl, Amanda commented, "I learned so much from both relationships. Both of them helped me to get to where I am today. The first one was there to sort of have a negative effect on me, and then my second one helped me get back to where I was."
While shooting the comedy She's the Man, rumors that co-stars Amanda and Channing Tatum were dating started when the two were caught making out on set (mostly likely for a scene).
Amanda was also connected with another one of her co-stars in She's the Man, and his name was David Cross, who is a lot older than Tatum and Amanda put together.
While shooting the comedy Sydney White in 2007, Amanda and co-star Matt Long were rumored to be dating. Many people online, however, did not approve of him dating such a "horrible and terrible actress."
In 2008, Amanda voiced a character for Family Guy and immediately hit it off with the show's creator Seth MacFarlane. They were seen hanging out at a L.A. party snuggling up against one another and reportedly left the party together.
December 2008 - January 2009
Amanda switched gears from movie actors to reality "stars" in 2008, when she was all over The Hills reality personality Doug Reinhardt at a Lakers game. Their fling was over once they left the building... Well actually it was less than a month later. Same thing.
February 2010 - March 2010
Reportedly, rapper Kid Cudi (real name Scott Mescudi) dumped Amanda because she tweeted too much. His patience was tested when she tweeted, "With kid cudi:," but she got on his last nerve when she tweeted that the two were possibly buying a house together. After receiving the news, Amanda tweeted, "On to the Next One ;)."
